domestic is a creative study founded by Bastien Beny and Simon Delacour in 2016. It is all about designing accessories, inspired by a reflection on desire and everyday objects.

Since the very beginning, domestic stands for sustainability through a handmade-to-order production, a choice of respectful and everlasting materials with a low-carbon footprint production, made in Paris proper.

domestic makes leather goods, jewelry, design objects, erotic tools... Items are versatile, seasonless and thought to dress up clothes and skin. Each product is neatly made of naturally tanned leather and non-allergenic plated metals, highlighted by detailed finishes.

Bastien is the Head Designer of domestic. He went through Paris' Ecole de Condé and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. Sensitive to raw materials, he specializes in luxurious accessories emanating from natural elements, sometimes recycled: a way for him to counteract fast-fashion industry and over-consumption. Since 2011, Bastien has been collaborating with Hermès “petit h”, where he imagines unisex & modular products, made from unused materials by the Maison. He has also been working with Thimister, Ungaro, Gianfranco Scotti, Rue du Mail, …

One hand alone cannot clap, Simon is the Director of Strategy and Business Developer. He went through Paris' Ecole de Condé, Duperré School in Paris and the Fine Arts School of Milan. Curious by nature, Simon started as a graphic designer at Alexander McQueen, was leather expert at Beynat & Janniaux, worked for Acne Studios as a product specialist. He now advises independent brands.

The duo works toward creating everlasting innovative accessories.
